The IAG Performance Stage 1 Blueprinted EJ25 11mm Oil Pump serves as the heart of your Subaru engine, ensuring proper oil circulation. This unit begins as a new OEM Subaru oil pump with 11mm rotors, which is then meticulously disassembled, cleaned ultrasonically, and inspected for any factory contaminants or debris. IAG's blueprinted process involves measuring and verifying rotor tolerances to ensure they are within specification, preventing inconsistencies common in OEM pumps. The modification process includes REM polishing the Pressure Relief Valve Piston. This creates a low Ra surface finish, significantly reducing friction and the likelihood of the piston galling or sticking in its bore. The pump is reassembled with a light coating of assembly lube to aid in initial priming and reduce wear during startup. The backing plate is secured with Loctite, and each fastener is torqued to spec, indicated by a painted mark. This Stage 1 oil pump is designed for both single and dual AVCS engines and is ideal for stock to mildly built engines, such as those used in street cars. It is compatible with all EJ series Subaru engines. The package includes the blueprinted oil pump, a front crankshaft seal, an oil pump o-ring, and seven zinc-plated bolts, shipping ready to install.
