The ClutchMax Stage 1 Clutch Kit and Performance Chromoly Flywheel Bundle Set offers a significant upgrade for compatible Honda and Acura models, replacing the factory dual-mass flywheel with a lighter, more responsive one-piece solid chromoly flywheel. This enhances driving feel and performance for daily driving, spirited street use, and light track engagements. The performance chromoly flywheel is forged from 4140 steel, CNC machined, and dynamically computer balanced to 15,000 RPM, contributing to a 45% weight reduction. The pressure plate is built from robust ductile/nodular cast iron for strength and wear resistance, complemented by a reinforced 51CrV4 steel diaphragm spring that has undergone a multi-stage heat-treating process. The Stage 1 HD sprung disc features a high-copper content woven organic friction material and a precision-broached sprung hub for enhanced durability and burst strength. This complete conversion set includes the performance chromoly flywheel, HD pressure plate, Stage 1 HD woven organic sprung disc (9-7/16" X 1-1/32" X 24 spline), high-temp HD clutch release bearing, HD pilot bushing, clutch fork pivot ball washer, flywheel and pressure plate mounting hardware, clutch alignment tool, and installation guide. It's crucial that the new clutch and flywheel are used together as a set, and no existing components should be reused.
