The ClutchMax Stage 1 Clutch Kit with Performance Chromoly Flywheel bundle set (CM08037HDLSF-ST1) is engineered for enhanced performance and durability. The kit features a pressure plate constructed from ductile/nodular cast iron for maximum strength and wear resistance. Diaphragm springs, made from German 51CrV4 steel, undergo a multi-stage heat-treating process to ensure uncompromising performance and longevity. The included performance chromoly flywheel is forged from a single piece of 4140 chromoly steel, CNC machined, and dynamically computer-balanced to 15,000 RPM. This lightweight flywheel offers a 37% weight reduction, providing an ideal balance for both track and street driving. This clutch kit is rated for a torque capacity of 239 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 270 HP. It is recommended for daily driving, performance street driving, and light track use, with a recommended break-in period of 500 miles. The bundle includes the clutch disc, pressure plate, flywheel, release bearing, pilot bushing, and an alignment tool, along with a clutch installation guide. An ECU flash may be required for optimal performance. The kit is compatible with a range of Acura and Honda models, including the 2006-2011 Acura CSX, 2013-2015 Acura ILX, 2002-2006 Acura RSX/RSX TYPE-S, 2004-2014 Acura TSX, 2003-2012 Honda Accord, and 2002-2015 Honda Civic Si.
