The ClutchMax Stage 1 Clutch Kit and Performance Chromoly Flywheel Bundle Set is designed for performance street driving and light track use. This kit features a performance chromoly flywheel made from 4140 forged steel, CNC machined, and dynamically computer balanced to 15,000 RPM. The pressure plate is constructed from ductile/nodular cast iron for strength and wear resistance, while the diaphragm spring is made from heat-treated 51CrV4 steel. The clutch disc utilizes HD woven organic friction material with high copper content.

The ClutchMax Stage 1 Clutch Kit and Performance Chromoly Flywheel Bundle Set provides an upgrade for daily driving, performance street use, and light track applications. This comprehensive kit includes a performance chromoly flywheel crafted from a single piece of solid 4140 forged steel. It is CNC machined and dynamically computer balanced to 15,000 RPM, offering a significant 38% weight reduction for an optimal balance of street and track performance. The pressure plate is engineered from ductile/nodular cast iron, ensuring maximum strength and superior wear resistance. The diaphragm spring is made of 51CrV4 steel, subjected to a multi-stage heat-treatment process for unwavering performance and durability. This bundle set is rated for a torque capacity of 269 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 280 HP, with a recommended break-in period of 500 miles. The kit contains one performance chromoly lightweight flywheel, one performance HD pressure plate (pull type), one performance Stage 1 HD woven clutch disc (8-7/8" x 1" x 23 spline), one release bearing, eight flywheel mounting bolts, one alignment tool, and a clutch installation guide. This ClutchMax Stage 1 Clutch Kit and Performance Chromoly Flywheel Bundle Set is specifically designed to fit the 2000-2005 Mitsubishi Eclipse GT and GTS models equipped with the 3.0L SOHC 6cyl 6G72 engine and the 5-speed manual Mitsubishi F5M51-1 transmission.
