The Valeo Stage 1 Clutch Kit with Flywheel (Part # 06A105265) is engineered for enthusiasts seeking enhanced clutch performance for their Mk4 1.8T, 2.0L, or TDi engines, especially those with bolt-on modifications and software tuning. This kit utilizes VR6 clutch components to achieve a 20-30% increase in clamping force over the stock clutch, while maintaining a comfortable, OEM-like pedal feel. Replacing the original dual-mass flywheel, this kit features a new, lightweight single mass flywheel (18 lbs) and a 228mm diameter clutch assembly. It is rated to handle up to 200-275 wheel horsepower and approximately 275 lb-ft of torque, making it suitable for many modified vehicles. The complete kit includes the clutch pressure plate, clutch disc, throw out bearing, lightweight flywheel, and all necessary flywheel and pressure plate bolts for installation. It is specifically designed to fit only 5-speed transmissions. This clutch kit is compatible with a range of VW Golf/GTI Mk4, VW Mk4, VW New Beetle, and Audi TT Mk1 models from various years, with specific fitments for 1.8T, 2.0L, and TDi engines.
