Stage 1+ ECU Tune

The Unitronic Stage 1+ performance software is an ECU upgrade precisely engineered for a completely stock Audi A3 1.8 TSI EA888 Gen3 MQB. This software is extensively tested on both engine and chassis dynamometers, as well as in real-world street and race scenarios. It retains all factory safety limiters and incorporates engine temperature protection, ensuring that engine operation stays within the limits of factory components. The calibration is optimized for improved engine response, reduced drive-by-wire lag, and a faster turbo spool, providing a more responsive driving experience. Unitronic's Stage 1+ software optimizes the torque curve for more low-end torque and a broader torque plateau, resulting in smoother, linear acceleration without an abrupt power surge. It also aims to improve fuel efficiency under cruising conditions through optimized timing and injection. The vehicle speed limiter is removed, though transmission rotational speed limits may still apply for automatic transmissions.
