Stage 1 ECU Tune 2.5L 5-Cylinder (07K)

The Integrated Engineering IESOVB11 is a Stage 1 ECU tune specifically engineered for the 2.5L 5-cylinder (07K) VW engine. This tune addresses common factory ECU annoyances such as throttle hesitation, rev hang, and sluggish response, significantly improving overall drivability. It is optimized for use with readily available 91/93 octane pump fuel. The IE Stage 1 tune offers a noticeable jump in power and torque across the entire powerband, making highway passing maneuvers more effortless and commutes more exciting. Installation of the IE Stage 1 tune requires the IE POWERlink Direct-port Flash Tool (sold separately) and a Windows 10 or newer laptop. The POWERlink cable connects to your vehicle's OBD-2 port, allowing you to easily flash the ECU. Once applied, the tune is permanently registered to the vehicle. This tune is compatible with a range of VW models equipped with the 2.5L 5-cylinder engine, including the Rabbit (MK5) 2007-2009, Jetta (MK5) 2007-2010, Golf (MK6) 2010-2014, Jetta (MK6) 2010-2014, Jetta Sportwagen (MK6) 2011-2014, Passat (B6/3C) 2007-2010, and New Beetle (MK1) 2008-2010. For those considering the IE Stage 2 tune, it requires the IE Performance 2.5L Intake Manifold (sold separately) and is exclusively for vehicles with electric power steering; it will not fit models with a hydraulic power steering pump. Automatic transmission vehicles also require a matching IE TCU Transmission tune to remove factory rev limiters and fully leverage the performance gains.
