The Unitronic Stage 1 ECU upgrade is a performance software precisely engineered for a completely stock Volkswagen Jetta GLI equipped with the 2.0 TSI EA888 Gen 3 MQB engine. Designed for use with 91 octane fuel, this upgrade substantially increases horsepower and torque. The stock engine produces 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, while the Unitronic Stage 1 tune boosts these figures to 297 horsepower and 346 lb-ft of torque, representing a gain of 69 horsepower and 88 lb-ft of torque. This performance software is engineered with strict industry standards and has been extensively tested under various driving conditions. It retains factory safety limiters and incorporates advanced torque management by gear for optimized acceleration. The system also features engine temperature protection, with rev limits adjusted based on engine coolant temperature. Unitronic's tuning provides optimized responsiveness, drivability, smoothness, and driving comfort, with power delivery perfectly calibrated throughout the power band.
