The WCFab Stage 1 High Flow Intake Bundle Kit is engineered to elevate the performance of your 2006-2007 LBZ Duramax engine by significantly improving airflow from the turbocharger to the engine. This kit directly addresses the weaknesses of the factory Y-bridge and intercooler piping, which are prone to boost leaks and failures in demanding applications. The centerpiece of this kit is the upgraded 3" Y-Bridge, designed as a robust, bolt-together assembly that provides a secure seal, unlike the stock slip-fit design. Complementing the Y-bridge are the 3" hot side and 3.5" cold side intercooler pipes. These components feature smooth mandrel bends, CNC-machined billet flanges with double O-ring seals, and are constructed from durable 14-gauge aluminum. The cold side pipe uses an upgraded silicone hump boot and stainless steel t-bolt clamps to reliably handle higher boost pressures, preventing leaks and maximizing power delivery. This kit is a direct bolt-on upgrade, compatible with stock trucks and requiring no other modifications or upgrades. It includes all necessary components for installation, such as silicone boots, t-bolt clamps, Map sensor seal, high-temperature O-ring seals for the grid heater and EGR, a new up-pipe to EGR gasket, and grid heater installation hardware. The kit is finished in a custom powder coat of your choice, with multiple color options available, and is proudly made in the USA. It is noted that the kit pairs best with emissions-compliant tuning and drop-in turbochargers for optimal performance gains.
