The PRL Motorsports Stage 1 Intake System is designed to enhance performance for the 2021+ Acura TLX 2.0T. This system replaces the restrictive factory inlet hose with a smoother, 4-ply silicone hose and a high-flow air filter.

The factory hose's pleats can disrupt airflow, limiting power potential and throttle response. The Stage 1 Intake aims to improve these aspects by providing a cleaner air path. It is engineered as a direct replacement and requires no ECU calibration.

The PRL Motorsports Stage 1 Intake System is engineered to deliver noticeable gains in performance and throttle response for the 2021+ Acura TLX 2.0T. This system directly addresses the limitations of the factory intake by replacing the corrugated, restrictive inlet hose with a smoother, high-flow 4-ply silicone hose and an accompanying high-flow air filter. The design aims to streamline airflow, which is crucial for maximizing the power potential of the 2.0L turbocharged engine. Key technical notes highlight that the pleats found in the stock intake hose disrupt airflow, hindering both overall power and responsiveness. The Stage 1 system's smoother internal diameter and material construction are intended to mitigate these airflow restrictions. The kit includes one high-flow panel air filter and the 4-ply silicone intake hose kit. PRL Motorsports also offers complementary products such as an intercooler install kit and air filter cleaning kits, allowing for a more comprehensive performance upgrade.
