This upgrade is intended to improve airflow, leading to better power potential and throttle response without requiring ECU calibration.

The PRL Motorsports Stage 1 Intake System directly replaces the restrictive factory corrugated inlet hose on the 2022+ Acura MDX Type-S 3.0T. By swapping the pleated factory hose for a smoother, 4-ply silicone intake hose and a high-flow panel air filter, this system aims to improve engine breathing. The smoother flow path reduces restrictions, which can lead to enhanced power potential and more responsive throttle input. This kit includes a drop-in oiled panel air filter and the necessary 4-ply silicone intake hose. A key benefit of this upgrade is that it requires NO ECU CALIBRATION REQUIRED, making for a straightforward installation. It is designed to fit all 2022+ Acura MDX Type-S 3.0T models, including RHD and International variants. Please note that this product is not legal for sale or use in California on any emission-controlled motor vehicle. PRL Motorsports offers a 12-month limited warranty against manufacturing defects on PRL-branded products, excluding wear and tear items or damage from misuse.
