Stage 1 Kit 2.0L

The ZZP Stage 1 Kit is a comprehensive modification package for the 2.0L ATS, designed to significantly enhance performance and power output. This kit includes a custom PCM tune, a high-flow cold air intake, and a performance downpipe. The PCM tune is not a generic mail-order file; it's a remote tune specifically calibrated for your vehicle's modifications and fuel type, optimizing variable valve timing, boost levels, and fuel/spark tables for maximum gains. The cold air intake, constructed from aluminum, ensures cooler air intake temperatures and reduces restriction, while also allowing the turbocharger's whistle to be heard more clearly. The 3" stainless steel downpipe improves exhaust flow directly from the turbo, further contributing to horsepower increases. This integrated package is projected to deliver an additional 60 horsepower over stock, with the overall driving experience reported to be improved. Installation is designed to be user-friendly, with an estimated total installation time of under 2 hours for all components. The tune itself is a result of extensive dyno testing and real-world application on ZZP's own fleet of 5 ATS vehicles, ensuring optimized performance tables for response, power, and engine temperature management. Compatibility for this kit spans various model years and transmission types of the ATS, including 2013-2015 models, 2016 Auto and Manual, and 2017-2019 Auto and Manual variants. Specific core options are available for the PCM, including sending your original PCM, receiving a pre-flashed core, or utilizing a remote tuning process with HPTuners interface rentals. Note that for 2017+ automatic transmission cars, the TCM must be sent to HPTuners for unlocking (additional cost applies), and transmission tuning requires the use of a rented interface or ownership of an HPTuners device. ZZP's catalytic converters are EPA certified but do not meet CARB standards; customers in CARB-compliant states should exercise caution. Once purchased, PCMs are non-refundable due to the custom tuning and HPTuners credit usage.
