Stage 1 Kit with W185ax 3.0L Supercharger

The Whipple Superchargers Gen 6 3.0L Stage 1 Kit is engineered to transform the driving experience of your 2015-2017 Ford Mustang 5.0L. At its core is the Whipple Gen 6 W185ax 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, which moves more air with less effort than smaller systems, resulting in lower discharge temperatures and a broad, immediate torque curve. This system is capable of producing up to 750 horsepower and 620 ft-lb of torque on 93-octane fuel. The Stage 1 system is designed to work with the factory throttle body and includes a 123mm high flow air intake system. Fueling is supported by billet fuel rails and GT500 fuel injectors. For tuning, the kit comes with an HP Tuners MPVI4 flash tool and Whipple calibration support, ensuring a thoroughly integrated package. Cooling is a significant focus, featuring Whipple's patented dual intercooler, dual pass technology paired with a massive, oversized aluminum intercooler core and a high-flow intercooler pump. This setup offers industry-leading air temperatures and consistent performance under demanding conditions. The system also boasts an oversized heat exchanger, approximately 150% larger than competing systems, and a self-contained, oversized oil system to manage heat. The kit comes complete with all necessary parts and hardware, including plug-and-play wiring. It utilizes a proven 6-rib belt system with a heavy-duty tensioner and offers an optional 10-rib system. The kit is also CARB certified and 50-state legal (CARB EO D-231-55).
