Stage 1 Low Lift Truck Camshaft

The Texas Speed Stage 1 Low Lift Truck Camshaft provides a reliable power upgrade for GM LS-based truck engines, delivering a dyno-tested increase of 45 horsepower and 21.5 lb-ft of torque on an otherwise stock 5.3L engine. The camshaft features proprietary lobe profiles optimized for use with factory GM LS6 single beehive valve springs and standard pushrods, offering a cost-effective performance solution that supports a 1200-5600 RPM power band while maintaining a smooth, stealthy idle suitable for daily driving and towing. Important installation requirements must be noted: engines equipped with DOD/AFM require a DOD/AFM delete, and engines with VVT require a VVT delete kit. For engines originally fitted with a 1-bolt camshaft, a 3-bolt conversion kit is mandatory for installation. Due to heavier valve weight, a dual valve spring kit or PAC 1218 (or equivalent) springs are recommended for 6.2L engines and 2007-later rectangle port 6.0L engines. While this camshaft works with stock torque converters, professional tuning is recommended to optimize performance.
