The Mountune Stage 1 Focus ST Gearbox provides a robust solution for owners looking to replace their original MMT6 transmission with a more durable, performance-focused unit. Each transmission begins as a brand new original Ford (Getrag) MMT6 gearbox. The unit is meticulously disassembled and inspected to ensure every component meets rigorous standards before being reassembled with performance-grade upgrades, including carbon-lined synchros and steel-caged primary bearings to improve shifting reliability and longevity. These transmissions are shipped fully assembled and ready for installation, which helps significantly reduce vehicle downtime compared to traditional rebuild processes. The purchase includes the clutch slave cylinder. Mountune highly recommends using Motul Multi-DCTF Dual Clutch Transmission Fluid for optimal performance, noting that two 1-liter bottles are required for the service. This transmission is specifically compatible with the 2013-2018 Ford Focus ST 2.0L EcoBoost. Please note that these units are built to order, with an estimated build time of 4-8 weeks, and are intended for off-highway applications only.
