Stage 1 O-Ring Cylinder Heads for 6.0L Powerstroke

The Kill Devil Diesel 60P-CH-620-1 cylinder head pair is engineered as a performance upgrade for the 6.0 Powerstroke engine, specifically addressing known weaknesses of the factory components. These heads start with 100% new, heavy-duty castings featuring a higher nickel content and a thicker deck surface for increased rigidity. KDD has significantly improved upon OE design flaws by incorporating hardened alloy valve seat inserts made of Tungsten Carbide, preventing the cracking issues common in factory heads. A key feature is the proprietary O-ring design, achieved by machining a receiver groove into the deck surface and pressing in USA-made stainless wire. This wire protrudes to apply extra pressure to MLS gaskets, effectively sealing combustion pressure and virtually eliminating the head gasket failures that plagued the 6.0 Powerstroke. The high-carbon stainless wire is reusable and works with standard, off-the-shelf head gaskets without requiring special block machining. Internally, these cylinder heads are equipped with 32 press-in iron matrix valve guides that are diamond honed for superior oiling and wear resistance.
