Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kit

The Exedy Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kit is engineered as a performance upgrade for various Subaru models, including the 2007-2012 Legacy GT, 2006-2014 Impreza WRX, 2015-2017 WRX, and the 2006 Saab 9-2X Aero. This kit utilizes premium friction materials that are resistant to slippage and bursting, coupled with increased clamp loads to effectively manage the demands of modified engines. It is presented as the ideal choice for both street driving and light-duty track applications. Drivability with the Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kit is designed to be similar to the factory clutch, though the increased clamp loads result in a slightly higher pedal effort. To ensure smooth engagement and reduce drivetrain shock, all Stage 1 clutch discs are equipped with spring center dampers. The clutch face material is an advanced ultra-fiber organic composite, developed to offer high heat resistance suitable for motorsports, by optimizing copper wire ratio and high-strength fiber composition. This Ultra Fiber Disc retains the characteristic smooth half-engagement feel of organic materials, while its enhanced heat resistance makes it suitable for street performance and mild racing scenarios. Key specifications for this clutch kit include a clamp load of 2383, a disc diameter of 9.1 inches (230 millimeters), 24 spline count (1-inch or 25.2 millimeters), and a torque capacity of 301 ft-lbs. All EXEDY Racing Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kits are SFI 1.1 certified. The kit includes a clutch disc, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, pilot bearing, and an alignment tool. It comes with a manufacturer's 12-month or 20,000-mile warranty.
