The Exedy 08-802 is a Stage 1 Organic clutch kit engineered for automotive enthusiasts seeking to enhance their vehicle's performance. The increased clamp loads provide the necessary capacity to handle the demands of modified engines. Despite these higher loads, the drivability remains comparable to a stock clutch, offering a balance between performance and comfort with only slightly higher pedal effort. Key features include spring center dampers, which are crucial for reducing drivetrain shock and promoting smooth, predictable clutch engagement. This thoughtful engineering results in a seamless transition between gears, enhancing control and confidence. The clutch disc has a 200mm diameter with a 21T/22.0mm spline, and the casting is made of ductile material for added strength and durability. This Exedy Stage 1 Organic Clutch Kit is specifically designed for 1988 Honda Civic and 1988 Honda CRX models. It is recommended that the flywheel be resurfaced or machined to manufacturer's specifications before installing the new clutch kit to ensure proper function and warranty coverage.
