Description

The GrimmSpeed Stage 1 Power Package is designed as an entry-level performance system for the 2008-2014 Subaru STI, featuring components engineered to work harmoniously. This package includes the GrimmSpeed 3-Port Electronic Boost Control Solenoid, which provides more precise and responsive boost control, essential for professional tuning. This reduction allows the turbocharger to spool faster and operate more efficiently, leading to quicker boost response and increased overall power. Key features of the intake system include a hybrid cold air/short ram design, an air straightener to ensure accurate MAF sensor readings, and a custom reusable high-flow air filter with an integrated velocity stack for smooth airflow. It is crucial to note that all GrimmSpeed Staged Power Packages, including this Stage 1 package, require a proper professional tune to achieve optimal performance and ensure system integrity. The combination of improved boost control and reduced intake restriction, when properly tuned, is expected to result in increased torque and horsepower.
