The Vargas Turbo Technologies Stage 1 Turbo Upgrade is a hybrid turbocharger set designed for the BMW N63TU engine. Each unit is a fresh rebuild using factory-spec internals, machined to accept custom VTT billet compressor wheels for improved efficiency and performance. These turbos offer a high power ceiling of up to 800 WHP with appropriate fueling and custom tuning, while retaining stock-like throttle response and lag characteristics. Installation is designed as a direct-fit replacement, bolting onto the stock manifolds for a factory-style appearance. For optimal performance and to take full advantage of the increased boost capacity, professional custom tuning is required. These units utilize the original turbo housings; please note that this product is not compatible with RHD models. A $1000 core charge applies to this order, which is refundable upon the return of your rebuildable original turbo units. Build times typically range from 4-6 weeks depending on core availability. These turbos are not legal for use in California or any jurisdiction that has adopted CARB regulations for aftermarket performance parts.
