Overview

The KC Turbos Stage 1 Turbo is a new turbocharger designed for the 2003-2007 6.0L Ford Powerstroke. It features a Billet 61x88 GTX style compressor wheel with extended tips to 93mm and a 73x64mm 13-bladed turbine wheel. This turbo is built from a brand new Garrett OEM core and includes a new VGT solenoid, with no core charge required.

The KC Turbos Stage 1 Turbo is a brand-new, direct replacement for the 2003-2007 6.0L Ford Powerstroke engine, built from a new Garrett OEM core. This turbo is engineered to provide a balance of quick spool and towing performance, featuring a Billet 61x88 GTX style compressor wheel with extended tips up to 93mm and a 73x64mm 13-bladed turbine wheel. This Stage 1 turbo is designed to support between 475 to 550 horsepower. It includes an upgraded 360-degree thrust bearing for enhanced durability and a new VGT solenoid. It is recommended for use with stock to 155cc/30% injectors, offering a solution for those looking to push stock injectors to their limits without the lag of larger aftermarket turbos. The turbo is a 100% drop-in installation with no modifications required and has no core charge. A note on installation: While this turbo is based on the 2004-2007 mounting style, it can be fitted to a 2003 pedestal by cutting off the 3rd mounting bracket on the back of the turbo. For optimal performance, custom SCT tuning is highly recommended. KC Turbos offers a 1-year warranty on all their products, covering manufacturing defects and shipping damage when installed correctly.
