The Whipple Supercharger Stage 1 Kit is a comprehensive twin-screw supercharger system engineered for the 2018-2021 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L, transforming its driving experience with instant torque and sharp throttle response. Manufactured in-house at Whipple's California facility, this kit is not a collection of disparate parts but a fully integrated Stage 1 package. At its core is the Whipple Gen 6 W185ax 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, which moves more air with less effort than smaller roots-style systems. This design contributes to reduced discharge temperatures and parasitic loss, providing the broad, immediate torque curve Whipple is known for. With 93-octane fuel, the Stage 1 system is capable of producing up to 750 flywheel horsepower and 640 foot-pounds of torque. The Gen 6 design incorporates new bearings, gears, rotors, and housing, alongside a 3/4 rotor combination and a 285-degree helix angle for enhanced efficiency. The system includes a 150mm Crusher™ Roval inlet and a matching high-flow air intake system, designed to work with the factory stock throttle body. Fueling is managed by billet fuel rails and high-flow injectors. The kit comes with an HP Tuners MPVI4 flash tool and Whipple calibration support, ensuring a properly integrated and tuned package. Cooling is addressed by a patented dual-pass, dual-core intercooler, an industry-leading heat exchanger, water reservoir, and intercooler pump, with a front-feed layout allowing for an oversized intercooler core for superior, repeatable performance. This kit is 50-state legal and CARB certified (EO D-231-69). Installation requires no cutting or engine modifications, and the completed installation offers a factory-installed appearance with plug-and-play wiring. It comes complete with all necessary parts and hardware for installation, including a robust 6-rib billet idler setup and an optional 10-rib belt system for more aggressive builds.
