S14KF1044 FRONT EBC Stage 14 Kit

The EBC S14 Kits Greenstuff Pads & RK Rotors is a front brake kit designed for modest brake improvement on Trucks and Light SUVs, including the 2013 Chevy Volt. The kit features EBC Greenstuff Brake Pads, known for quiet operation and 30% less dust than stock pads. These pads are a direct OEM replacement, formulated with Aramid fiber for everyday street driving, and feature beveled edges, a center-line slot for cooling, and a green powder coating for rust resistance. They include EBC's patented Brake-in coating for fast pad seating. The kit also includes EBC RK Series Premium OE Replacement Plain Brake Rotors, which are sold in pairs. These rotors are sized and shaped to OE factory dimensions with strict quality controls and machined to extremely tight tolerances (<0.05mm). They are made from high-quality "gray" iron with a higher carbon and silicone content, which helps reduce brake shudder, heat cracking, and high-frequency vibrations. The rotors have a black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish. This kit is recommended for normal street driving, high-performance street driving, truck/SUV use, drifting, and short track runs, but the pads are not intended for track use. EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period for the rotors. The kit includes pads, rotors, and caliper lube.
