The Texas Speed & Performance Stage 2 High Lift Truck Camshaft Package is designed as a comprehensive upgrade for 1999-2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 trucks. This kit provides all necessary aftermarket parts for a camshaft swap, aiming to deliver significant performance improvements. The core of the package is the Stage 2 camshaft itself, featuring a 212°/218° duration split with .600"/.600" lift and a 110 LSA. Accompanying the camshaft are PAC 1219 single beehive valve springs, rated for up to .625" lift and suitable for cams under 230° duration. The package also includes 7.400" pushrods and requires seals. While the PAC 1219 springs are included, users are advised to consider upgrading to PAC 1211X single beehive springs for camshafts exceeding 230 degrees of duration to ensure better valvetrain control due to increased open spring pressure. Alternatively, a double spring kit with PAC .660" dual springs is also available. Installation may require verification of pushrod length, as variations can occur depending on the camshaft core used by the manufacturer. Texas Speed & Performance offers an optional adjustable pushrod length checker to help ensure proper fitment and avoid valvetrain issues.
