The Whipple Superchargers WK-2625-S2 is a complete Stage 2 system engineered specifically for the 2018-2021 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L, aiming to provide the strongest 50-state legal Whipple package available for the platform. It utilizes the Gen 6 W185ax 3.0L twin-screw supercharger, which offers improved efficiency and reliability with its advanced 3x4 rotor profile and 285° helix angle. This larger 3.0L displacement moves more air with less effort compared to smaller roots-style systems, reducing discharge temperatures and parasitic loss while delivering instant torque. The Stage 2 system is distinguished by its enhanced airflow and fuel support. It includes a billet 132mm Roval throttle body and an expansive 150mm Crusher™ inlet for maximum airflow. Fuel delivery is handled by billet fuel rails with 55LB/HR fuel injectors and an included DW400 fuel pump upgrade. The kit comes with an HP Tuners MPVI4 flash tool and Whipple calibration support, with calibrations intended for stock-engine combinations only and should be requested before installation. Cooling performance is a key aspect, featuring a patented dual-pass, dual-core intercooler paired with an industry-leading heat exchanger, water reservoir, and intercooler pump. The front-feed layout allows for an oversized intercooler core, surpassing many competing systems and even some specialized racing applications in cooling capability. This supercharger kit is CARB certified and 50-state legal, offering up to 825 flywheel horsepower and 655 foot-pounds of torque on 93-octane fuel under optimal conditions. No cutting or engine modifications are required for installation, and the completed installation aims for a factory appearance. A robust 6-rib billet idler setup with a spring-loaded tensioner and billet pulleys is included, with an optional 10-rib system available.
