Description

The ATS Diesel ATS Stage 2 42RLE Transmission Package is a transmission upgrade designed for 4WD 2007-2011 Jeep 3.8L models. It addresses the limitations of the factory 42RLE transmission, which was not designed for the demands of aftermarket modifications like larger tires, extreme off-roading, or increased power levels.

This package features a redesigned pump assembly with an oversized gearset for improved cooling and lubrication. It also includes a billet torque converter with a heavy-duty carbon composite lock-up clutch, and reinforced planetary gearsets to prevent failure. The valve body is heavily modified to optimize hydraulic oil flow and ensure precise shift timing, while the clutch packs are upgraded with high-performance plates and steels.
