The Snow Performance Stage 2.5 Boost Cooler is a water-methanol injection system engineered for all forced induction applications, including supercharged and turbocharged gasoline engines. This system is designed to unlock significant power gains by cooling intake air temperatures by up to 100 degrees Fahrenheit, which consequently allows for an increase in pump gas octane by up to 25 points. This results in an estimated horsepower increase of 50-70 HP, enabling a cooler-running, more efficient motor. The core of the Stage 2.5 system is the progressive VC-50 Controller, which functions as both a boost gauge and a water-methanol controller within a 52mm form factor. This controller proportionally injects the water-methanol mixture based on real-time boost pressure, providing an accurate and optimized delivery curve. Users can adjust the start and full injection points for precise tuning to meet specific engine demands, leading to improved drivability and performance across a wider operating range. The VC-50 features a 7-color OLED screen that displays critical data such as boost pressure, percentage of injection, low fluid level, secondary nozzle activation status, and even reports up to two fault codes. Key features of this kit include a 2.5-gallon tank capacity, which helps to reduce carbon buildup on intake ports and valves. The system utilizes an OEM-approved Extreme Environment 300 PSI UHO pump with O-Ring connections and ACU-SEAL compression fittings for reliable, leak-free operation. The Hyper-Sonic water-methanol nozzle and a low-profile high-flow check valve are also included to ensure efficient and consistent performance. This universal fitment kit is intended for street-driven turbocharger and centrifugal supercharger applications using gasoline.
