This complete drop-in transmission requires no permanent modifications for installation. The Stage 2 transmission includes a comprehensive list of performance-oriented components. Key upgrades feature a TransGo Performance Valve Body Kit to enhance line pressure, a triple-disc billet torque converter for improved durability, billet forward piston, billet clutch hub, billet pump rotor, and billet direct apply ring to withstand high power levels. It also incorporates OE-style Borg Warner clutches, a caged needle bearing for high shock load handling, an updated front center support bushing, and new OE-style components for the bell housing and filter. Installation of this transmission requires specific considerations. It is exclusively for trucks equipped with the factory 6-speed 6L80E transmission and will not fit models with 4-speed, 8-speed, or 10-speed transmissions. Additionally, TechM Programming is required for proper operation. A core charge of $2500.00 applies, refundable upon inspection of the returned stock core. A 300-mile break-in period and a 100-mile relearn procedure are mandatory to maintain the 2-year/unlimited mileage warranty.
