Stage 2 Air Box Cover

The DNA High Performance Air Box Cover Stage 2 (TC-Y7N14-S2) is constructed from CNC-machined billet black polyamide 6. This air box cover is designed to replace a portion of the stock air box and is intended to work exclusively with the DNA stock replacement air filter (R-Y7N14-01). When used together, this combination significantly increases engine airflow, leading to improvements in torque and power. The filtering efficiency of the assembly is rated at 98-99% according to ISO 5011 standards. This Stage 2 application provides a substantial increase in airflow, with the DNA Stage 2 Air Box Cover and Stage 1 Air Filter combined offering a 179.76% improvement over the stock Yamaha application. The airflow for the DNA S1 & S2 filters is measured at 171.30 CFM, compared to the Yamaha stock paper filter with stock air box cover at 61.23 CFM. Installation information is included with the air box cover. It is important to note that fuel injection recalibration is necessary for optimal performance. This DNA Stage 2 Air Box Cover is designed for Road and Race use, however, it is developed for race and track applications, and in some countries, it may not be legal for road use. Fuel recalibration is also suggested for best results.
