Technically, the camshaft features a 228/232 duration, .600/.600 lift, and a 112 LSA, operating within a 2000-7000 RPM range. To achieve optimal performance, Texas Speed requires the use of Pac 1219 or TSP/PAC Dual .660 valve springs and a minimum compression ratio of 10.1:1. Additionally, professional tuning is mandatory for both automatic and manual transmission applications to ensure proper engine management. For automatic transmission vehicles, an aftermarket torque converter with a minimum 3200 RPM stall is required for operation. While an upgraded rear gear is not strictly necessary, a 3.23 ratio or higher is recommended for those seeking maximum performance.
