This kit serves as a robust solution when the stock clutch or a Stage 1 clutch can no longer reliably handle the increased power output. This kit utilizes a cerametallic friction material, known for its superior heat resistance and durability compared to organic compounds. The disc itself is a thick, 3-puck design with sprung center dampers to mitigate drivetrain shock loads. The Exedy Stage 2 kit includes a pressure plate with approximately 40% higher clamping load than the genuine part, significantly increasing torque transmitting capacity.
