Stage 2 Clutch Kit

The Clutchmax Stage 2 Clutch Kit is engineered for enhanced performance and durability, suitable for daily driving, spirited street use, and moderate track applications. It boasts a torque capacity of 249 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 268 HP, with a recommended break-in period of 500 miles. The components are constructed for longevity and strength. The pressure plate is made from ductile/nodular cast iron for superior wear resistance. The diaphragm spring is crafted from 51CrV4 steel, undergoing a multi-stage heat-treating process to ensure uncompromising performance. The clutch disc features a carbon kevlar composite friction material with a precision-broached sprung hub, offering outstanding holding power and an extended lifespan. This kit includes a performance pressure plate, a Stage 2 Carbon Kevlar infused disc (8-7/8" x 15/16" x 22 spline), a High-Temp HD release bearing, an HD pilot bearing, and a clutch alignment tool, along with a clutch installation guide. This clutch kit is confirmed to fit the following vehicles: 1993-1997 Ford Probe (2.0L DOHC 4cyl), 1993-1997 Mazda MX-6 (2.0L DOHC 4cyl), 1993-2002 Mazda 626 (2.0L DOHC 4cyl), 2001-2003 Mazda Protege (2.0L DOHC 4cyl), 2003 Mazda Mazdaspeed Protege (2.0L DOHC 4cyl Turbo), and 2002-2003 Mazda Protege5 (2.0L DOHC 4cyl).
