The ClutchMax Stage 2 Clutch Kit and Flywheel Bundle set is engineered for drivers seeking an upgrade over stock performance. The flywheel is crafted from high magnesium content nodular cast iron, offering greater strength and durability compared to OE flywheels, and is described as 2X stronger. The pressure plate is made from ductile/nodular cast iron for maximum strength and wear resistance. Complementing these components, the diaphragm spring is constructed from 51CrV4 steel, subjected to a multi-stage heat-treating process for uncompromising performance. The clutch disc utilizes a carbon kevlar composite friction material with a precision broached sprung hub, ensuring outstanding holding power and an extended clutch lifespan. This kit is rated for a torque capacity of 249 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 268 HP. It requires a break-in period of 500 miles. The bundle includes the nodular HD flywheel, a performance HD pressure plate, a stage 2 carbon kevlar composite disc (8-7/8" x 15/16" x 22 spline), a high-temp HD release bearing, an HD pilot bearing, a clutch alignment tool, and an installation guide.
