The ClutchMax CM16087HDLSF-ST2 is a Stage 2 clutch kit and performance lightweight flywheel bundle engineered for demanding applications, including track use, performance street driving, and moderate daily use. Key components include a high-strength 4140 Chromoly forged steel flywheel, CNC machined and dynamically computer balanced to 15,000 RPM. The pressure plate is crafted from durable ductile/nodular cast iron for maximum strength and wear resistance. Diaphragm springs made from 51CrV4 steel (imported from Germany) undergo a specialized heat-treating process to ensure uncompromising performance and longevity. The clutch disc features sintered copper ceramic pads on a chromoly sprung hub, providing ultimate holding power, peak performance, and an extended service life. This kit has a torque capacity of 345 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 357 HP. Included in this bundle set is the performance Chromoly lightweight flywheel (11.24 lbs, 120 ring gear teeth), a performance pressure plate, a Stage 3 ceramic 6-puck sprung disc (8-7/8" x 1-1/32" x 23 spline), an alignment tool, and a clutch installation guide. A recommended break-in period of 500 miles is advised for optimal performance and longevity.
