Stage 2 Clutch Kit and Performance Chromoly Flywheel Bundle

The ClutchMax Stage 2 Clutch Kit and Performance Chromoly Flywheel Bundle Set is engineered for a significant upgrade in holding power and durability, suitable for daily driving, performance street use, and moderate track conditions. The kit includes a performance lightweight Chromoly flywheel, a performance HD pressure plate, a Stage 2 carbon kevlar composite friction disc, a high-temp HD release bearing, an HD pilot bearing, pressure plate mounting bolts, a clutch alignment tool, and an installation guide. The performance chromoly flywheels are precision-crafted from 4140 Chromoly forged steel, CNC machined, and dynamically computer-balanced to 15,000 RPM. The pressure plate is made from ductile/nodular cast iron for maximum strength and wear resistance, while the diaphragm springs are constructed from 51CrV4 steel, subjected to a multi-stage heat-treating process for uncompromising performance. The disc itself features a carbon kevlar composite friction material with a sprung hub for superior holding power and longevity. This bundle set offers a torque capacity of 258 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 291 HP, with a recommended break-in period of 500 miles. The flywheel is approximately 44% lighter than the factory unit, providing an ideal balance for both track and street driving. This kit is specifically designed to fit the following Mazda models: 1989-1993 Eunos Roadster (1.6L), 1990-1993 MX-5 Miata (1.6L), 1994-1997 MX-5 Miata (1.8L 5-speed), 1998-2005 MX-5 Miata (1.8L 5-speed and 6-speed NB), and 2004-2005 Miata MX-5 Mazdaspeed (1.8L Turbo BPT 6-speed NB).
