The kit includes a performance solid chromoly lightweight flywheel, constructed from one-piece solid 4140 chromoly forged steel. This flywheel is CNC machined and dynamically computer balanced to 15,000 RPM, featuring a 44% weight reduction for an improved balance between track and street performance. It replaces the factory dual-mass flywheel with a one-piece solid chromoly unit for a vastly improved feel and performance. The pressure plate is made from ductile/nodular cast iron for maximum strength and wear resistance, while the diaphragm springs are constructed from 51CrV4 steel, subjected to a multi-stage heat-treating process for uncompromising performance and durability. The included Stage 2 clutch disc utilizes a carbon kevlar composite friction material and a precision-broached sprung hub, contributing to greater holding capacity and a longer lifespan. This kit has a torque capacity of 323 lb-ft and a horsepower rating of 341 HP, with a recommended break-in period of 500 miles.
