The Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is a performance-focused upgrade designed to enhance airflow and engine output. It features a Pro 5R filter, known for its high-flow capabilities, and is engineered to retain factory mounting locations for a straightforward installation. This system aims to deliver significant gains in horsepower and torque. According to manufacturer claims, it produces up to 17 horsepower and 15 lbs. x ft. of torque over stock. Furthermore, it outflows the factory intake by 21%, indicating improved air induction efficiency. The intake tube is constructed from lightweight aluminum and finished with a wrinkle-black powdercoat for durability and a sleek appearance. The kit includes a tuned intake tube and a diverter heat shield to help maintain cooler intake air temperatures.
