Stage 2 Daily Clutch Kit

The South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Daily Clutch Kit is engineered for vehicles with HP modifications, offering a robust solution for increased power. This kit features an updated friction disc design with a revolutionary silent operation, eliminating the idle rattle sometimes associated with performance clutches. The heavy-duty pressure plate provides an increased clamp load with minimal impact on pedal pressure. The organic disc material boasts a high metal content, enhancing the coefficient of friction by over double that of a stock lining and increasing rotational strength to a 12,000 RPM burst point. This system maintains a stock feel while delivering superior strength and durability, making it recommended for daily driving, spirited street use, and moderate race applications. The kit includes a 22.5 lb single-mass South Bend Clutch flywheel, a clutch friction disc, a pressure plate, a throw-out bearing, pressure plate and flywheel bolts (6 of each), and a clutch alignment tool. It is conservatively rated to 325 ft-lb of torque at the wheels and is SFI approved.
