The South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Daily clutch kit is engineered for 1998-2006 Volkswagen Golf IV 1.9T TDI vehicles, offering a robust upgrade for daily driving with enhanced performance. This kit features a Stage 2 clutch designed to handle up to 325 ft-lbs of torque, making it suitable for vehicles with moderate power modifications. It includes a heavy-duty diaphragm pressure plate with an increased clamp load, a full-face organic disc for smooth engagement, and a sprung hub for reduced drivetrain shock. The kit comes complete with a 22.5 lbs cast single mass flywheel, mounting hardware, and a throwout bearing, ensuring a comprehensive replacement solution. An alignment tool is also included for easier installation. Key specifications include a 28-tooth input spline with a 0.88-inch input shaft diameter and a 230mm disc diameter. While a pilot bushing is not included, the kit is SFI approved for safety and compliance. It is sold as a complete kit, designed as a direct bolt-on for the specified VW models.
