The Unitronic Stage 2 ECU Performance Engine Tune is a powerful software upgrade engineered for VW/Audi 2.0 TFSI engines. This tune is precisely calibrated to support up to 20psi of boost, offering enhanced performance and drivability. It includes all Stage 2 tune variants and all lower software stages, ensuring comprehensive support for your vehicle's modifications. Key features of this performance tune include factory safety limiters retained, optimized responsiveness and drivability, and improved fuel efficiency. The speed governor is removed, and the RPM limiter is increased to 7100. It also addresses lower-end hesitation (lag) and precisely calibrates ignition timing for higher octane fuel. Installation is simplified through Unitronic's UniCONNECT+ system, which allows for the effortless installation of ECU and DSG software from home. UniCONNECT+ serves as a programming and diagnostic interface, enabling users to flash performance software, revert to stock, and perform diagnostics. This tune requires specific hardware, including a 2.0L TFSI (FWD) 3" Downpipe by Unitronic and, for MK6 R models, the Unitronic Golf R Exhaust System.
