The RacingLine Stage 2 'EVO' Performance Brake upgrade kit introduces an all-new 4-piston lightweight monoblock caliper design, running on 345mm single-piece discs. This revised version offers a significant improvement over previous iterations. The EVO caliper is larger, accommodating a pad size compatible with the Ferrari F40, offering flexibility for future pad selection. Despite its size, the monoblock calipers are engineered to be lightweight, weighing approximately half that of the factory Golf R/Audi S3 brake setup. The entire caliper, pad, and bracket assembly weighs in at 4.4kg (9.7lb), compared to the factory Golf 7R kit's 8.6kg (18.9lb), resulting in substantial unsprung mass savings. Constructed from a lightweight Monoblock one-piece design, typically found in high-specification motorsport kits, these calipers are significantly stiffer and lighter than OEM components. This kit aims to provide a sportscar look and feel to the braking system for performance-oriented driving. This kit is designed for use on various Audi and Volkswagen MQB platform vehicles, including models such as the Audi TTRS, S3, A3, TT, TTS, and Volkswagen Alltrack, Arteon, Golf VII, Golf VIII, and Jetta VII.
