Stage 2 EVO Monoblock Front Performance Brake Kit

The Racingline Stage 2 ‘EVO’ Monoblock Performance Brake Kit is a front brake upgrade designed for fast-road driving and occasional track use. It features a one-piece, four-piston monoblock caliper and a larger 345mm grooved disc. This kit offers increased stopping power, improved pedal feel, and enhanced visual appeal compared to standard setups on MQB platform cars.

The monoblock caliper construction, machined from a single piece of aluminum, provides greater stiffness for a sharper pedal response and reduced flex. The caliper, pad, and bracket assembly weighs approximately 4.4kg per side, a significant reduction from the OEM Golf 7R kit's 8.6kg, leading to lower unsprung mass for better suspension response and handling.

The kit includes a pair of monoblock four-piston brake calipers, caliper mounting brackets, full bolt and mounting hardware, braided stainless steel brake lines, a sport brake pad set, and a pair of 345mm x 30mm triple-groove discs. The larger discs offer increased heat capacity to combat brake fade during heavy braking. The brake pads are a generic Ferrari F40 size, allowing for a wide range of aftermarket compound choices when replacement is needed.
