Overview

It features a durable powder coat finish and includes all necessary hardware for a straightforward installation.

This intake system enhances the sound of the bypass valve and can provide an estimated 12hp increase on a stock computer by leaning out the AFR and bumping boost. For tuned vehicles, the gains are approximately 5-6hp. An included air box or heat shield ensures only cool air is drawn in.

Show original supplier description

The ZZPerformance Cruze Cold Air Intake is engineered as a high-flow replacement for your vehicle's restrictive OEM air box. This revised 1.4L intake system comes with everything needed for installation, which typically takes about 30 minutes. It features a durable powder coat finish for longevity. On a stock computer, it's estimated to provide around 12hp by leaning out the Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) and increasing boost. When used with a tuned computer, the gain is approximately 5-6hp. The included air box, or heat shield, ensures that only cool air is drawn into the engine, optimizing performance. For advanced builds exceeding 250 wheel horsepower (whp), the insert within the intake can be removed to allow for a greater MAF frequency range, providing more flexibility for tuning. This cold air intake is specifically designed to fit the Chevrolet Cruze 1.4T models from 2011 through 2016. However, it does not fit the late model 2016.5+ Cruze; a separate version is available for the 2nd gen Cruze. Importantly, this intake will NOT fit any Chevy Sonic models, which require a different ZZP intake.
