The Phoenix Friction Stage 2 Kevlar Clutch Kit is designed to deliver reliable street performance for Acura TL and Honda Accord applications. By replacing the OE disc with a high-heat Kevlar spring-dampened unit, this kit achieves superior durability and smooth, chatter-free operation without increasing pedal effort. It is engineered as a complete, direct factory-fit replacement that works in harmony with existing driveline components. Technical specifications include a 9-3/8 inch disc diameter, 24-tooth spline, and a dampened push-style release mechanism. The kit provides an engine torque capacity of 280 lb-ft and is rated for 335 HP. Each set includes a new pressure plate, clutch disc, release bearing, pilot bearing, and an alignment tool to ensure a complete installation process. Because Kevlar is a high-performance friction material, it requires a break-in period of up to 1,000 miles to properly seat and reach its full performance potential. All components are tested to meet OE specifications, ensuring compatibility with your vehicle's factory system. No modifications are required for installation, and technical assistance is available to support the fitment process.
