EBC Green Stuff Brake Pads are designed for everyday street driving, offering quiet operation and 30% less dust than OEM pads. They feature beveled edges and a center-line slot to minimize noise and facilitate rapid bedding for maximum braking power. The pads and pad plates are green powder coated for rust resistance, and the center-line slot helps vent in cool air to prevent thermal cracking. This kit also includes EBC USR BlackDash Series Sport Slotted 1-Piece Rear Brake Rotors. These rotors feature multiple narrow, angled slots for quieter operation, superior cooling, and even pad wear. A vented center design promotes even temperature moderation to prevent warping. The Black GEOMET™ and NITROTHERM™ anti-corrosive finish provides protection on non-contact areas, with the anodized layer designed to disappear where the brake pads contact the rotor. EBC recommends a 500-mile break-in period with lighter braking application for optimal performance. These rotors ensure increased pad bite, improved air circulation, and effectively clean and de-glaze the pad surface. They create an escape route for debris, dust, and water, reducing stopping distances in wet weather and offering faster heat dissipation while resisting warping and fading. The kit is backed by a 12-month/10,000-mile warranty from EBC. It is important to note that these pads are not recommended for track use.
