The TSP Stage 2 Low Lift Cathedral Camshaft is engineered for 4.8L, 5.3L, and 5.7L engines, with optimal performance in mind for 6.0L engines as well. This camshaft, featuring a 212/218 duration and .550/.550 lift with a 112 LSA, is designed to be a "stealth" option that maintains a smooth idle and drives "almost stock" after proper tuning. It's ideal for those seeking a performance upgrade without a drastically altered driving characteristic, and it can be practically hidden with some exhaust systems. This camshaft achieved gains of 51.4 HP and 22.9 TQ at the flywheel on a stock 5.3L engine during in-house SuperFlow 902 engine dyno testing. The power band operates effectively between 1200-5800 RPM. To ensure optimal performance and compatibility, the TSP Stage 2 Low Lift Cathedral Camshaft requires GM LS6 Single Beehive Springs and a desired compression ratio of 9.5:1 or higher. The use of proprietary TSP lobe profiles allows for the utilization of factory GM LS6 single beehive valve springs and factory pushrods, making it an affordable camshaft package. Proper tuning is essential for achieving the intended drivability. This product is not legal for sale or use in the state of California.
