The MHI Stage 2 OEM Turbo Upgrade is a bolt-on turbocharger designed for the Honda Civic Type R. This upgrade features a larger billet compressor wheel (65mm exducer) and an upgraded Inconel turbine wheel.

The unit retains all original mounting points and footprint for a direct replacement installation.

The MHI Stage 2 OEM Turbo Upgrade is a direct, 100% bolt-on replacement designed for the Honda Civic Type R (FK2/FK8/FL5) and compatible models. This turbocharger utilizes upgraded internal components, including a larger 65mm exducer billet compressor wheel and a 52mm inducer Inconel turbine wheel, to significantly enhance performance. It offers an approximate power increase of +33% over stock, bringing output to around 400hp, without sacrificing reliability or spool time. The housings are identical to the stock unit, ensuring a seamless fit and retaining all original mounting points. For optimal performance and experience with this turbo kit, upgrades to the Hondata FK8 Civic Type R Fuel System, an XDI FK8 Civic Type R High-Flow Direct-Injection Fuel Pump, and a Honda FK8 Civic Type R Intercooler Kit are highly recommended. An optional Full-Race Type R Install Kit is also available to simplify the process. This MHI turbo upgrade is compatible with the 2017+ Honda Civic Type R (FK8), as well as the 2018+ Accord 2.0T (CV2), 2019+ Acura RDX 2.0T (TC1/TC2), and 2019+ Acura TLX 2.0T (UB5/UB6) when using the FK8 Downpipe.
