The Competition Clutch Stage 2 - Street Series 2100 Clutch Kit is engineered to meet the demands of drivers seeking enhanced holding power and responsive engagement. This kit is ideal for moderately modified vehicles or those who engage in spirited driving, offering a 40-50% increase in torque capacity and a slightly firmer pedal feel. The kit utilizes a durable full-face organic high-torque disc with anti-burst steel-backed Brass Plus facings, ensuring smooth engagement and reliable street performance without compromising drivability. Each kit includes a Competition Clutch performance pressure plate, a high-torque sprung disc, throw-out bearing (where applicable), pilot bearing/bushing (where applicable), and an alignment tool for a comprehensive installation. This clutch kit is specifically designed for 1997-1999 Acura CL, 1990-2002 Honda Accord, and 1990-2001 Prelude models with 2.2L and 2.3L engines. Proper break-in is recommended for optimal operation and longevity, involving frequent shifting during the first 500 miles to ensure the disc material properly embeds into the friction surfaces.
