Stage 2 Supercharger System

The Whipple Superchargers WK-2620B-STG2 Stage 2 supercharger system is engineered for the 2015-2017 Ford Mustang GT 5.0L, aiming to significantly increase power output. This kit utilizes the latest Generation 5 3.0L front-feed twin-screw supercharger, which boasts an advanced 3/4 rotor combination and a 285-degree helix for superior efficiency from idle to redline. It is not to be confused with earlier generations. This system features an industry-leading, patent-pending triple intercooler design that offers increased volume and surface area compared to previous iterations. Coupled with a robust heat exchanger, water reservoir, and intercooler pump, it ensures more power with lower boost levels and faster recovery after aggressive use. The kit comes with a unique PCM calibration that manages fuel, spark, knock detection, torque management, and throttle control for optimal performance and reliability. It includes unique software and an OBDII flash tool, enabling users to update their system and adjust parameters like wheel/axle size and octane settings. Each complete Whipple system incorporates an IAT2 harness and sensor for precise monitoring of air temperatures, maximizing power across various environments. The 6-rib billet idler system is designed for durability and can be upgraded to a 10-rib system. The large 150mm Roval inlet accommodates various throttle body sizes. This supercharger system is capable of producing up to 825 engine horsepower and 640 foot-pounds of torque on 93 octane fuel, representing a significant power gain. It is also 50-state legal (EO D231-55). The kit is designed as a complete bolt-on solution and may require a specific PCM calibration. Options for belt systems and cooling are available.
