Stage 2 Suspension System

The ICON Vehicle Dynamics K53052 Stage 2 suspension system is engineered to provide increased wheel travel and superior ride quality for the 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner and 2007-2009 FJ Cruiser. This system includes Extended Travel 2.5 Series front coilovers, which necessitate the use of an ICON upper control arm (UCA). The Delta Joint offers robust metal-on-metal construction with a greaseable design for longevity and noise-free operation, providing greater angularity than a typical ball joint while being more resistant to elements than a uniball. Key features of this system include adjustable coilovers offering 0-3.5 inches of front lift height, vehicle-specific tuned shocks for optimal damping, and 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components. The coilover shock bodies are CAD plated for corrosion resistance and utilize FK Rod End bearings. The rear suspension is complemented by 2.0 Aluminum Series internal reservoir shocks. The system is compatible with OEM wheels and tires, and recommended aftermarket wheel sizes range from 17x8.5" to 20x9" with specific backspace and offset. It can accommodate up to 33" x 11.50" tires, though larger tires may require fender trimming and modifications. An optional 700 Lb/In Expedition Coil is available for heavier equipped vehicles. Shocks are fully serviceable, and indicated coilover heights are for stock-equipped vehicles.
